On June 16, Delaware College Scholars (“DCS”) parents, faculty, supporters and Dr. Susan Bunting, Delaware Secretary of Education, gathered to celebrate as 36 rising college freshmen graduated from DCS.

Thanks to a new partnership with Delaware State University, we are able to expand our program, accept more students, and allow our scholars to earn college credits!

DCS is proud to announce it has selected its newest cohort (class) to join Delaware College Scholars! Like the five cohorts before it, Cohort 6 will begin their seven-year journey of the college selection and persistence process this June.

On April 7, Dr. Tony Alleyne accepted the 2019 Early Career Award from Columbia University’s Teacher’s College.

Last month, we had the opportunity to cheer along as former Delaware College Scholars head student advisor Jordan Bonner scored his 1,000th point for Wesleyan University, a prestigious liberal arts college located in Middletown, CT.
