Dr. Tony Alleyne is the Founder and Executive Director of the Delaware College Scholars Program (DCS). Prior to DCS, Dr. Alleyne served as the Senior Associate Director of Admission and College Counseling at St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Delaware.

Ms. Word leads efforts in providing equitable access and opportunities for all students by creating and implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that focuses on college access initiatives, enrichment program partnerships and student engagement.
COLLEGE COUNSELORS
The team members below serve as College Counselors to our rising seniors. In this role, they help our scholars and their families navigate the college process and serve as a resource for our families as they determine the “best fit” for their student.
JACOLBY SUGGS
College Counselor
Mr. Suggs graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2017 where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. Since then, he has been working in college access and college success. Jacolby stays steadfast in his personal mantra: to be who students need as they navigate the wonders and woes of their becoming years.
