MEET ZADIA!
Cohort 9 scholar and Howard High School of Technology student Zadia Owens, alongside her business partner Brandon Ruiz, presented their startup idea today in front of accomplished judges at the 2023 EntreX Lab Delaware Venture Showcase. Competing against nine teams in the Social Innovation Category from across the State of Delaware, Zadia and Brandon gave a five-minute pitch and fielded questions from the judges for three minutes.
EntreX is a dual enrollment program from Horn Entrepreneurship at the University of Delaware which provides first-hand experience with the entrepreneurial process to high school students throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
So proud of Zadia and all the work that she put in to get this far — congrats!
