MEET KARELIN!
This summer, we had the pleasure of visiting Cohort 2 scholar Karelin Torres!
Karelin began working at The Choir School of Delaware this past spring and currently serves as their Latinx Family Services Coordinator. In this role, she is responsible for connecting with community organizations and recruiting Latinx families and students to enroll in The Choir School of Delaware. In addition to providing translations for all of their marketing materials, Karelin also works closely with students during their daily after-school and summer programs. It was wonderful to hear Karelin speak so passionately about these after-school and summer programs where they create a safe learning environment that combines music education with homework help, mentorship, and social services.
