Cohort 2 graduate Aliyah Bennett participates in University of Delaware’s Study Abroad program

This winter, Cohort 2 graduate Aliyah Bennett will be traveling to Kenya & Tanzania as part of University of Delaware’s Study Abroad program in nursing.  A junior at the University of Delaware, Aliyah majors in Nutrition and Medical Sciences on the pre-med track with a minor in Biological Sciences. After graduation in 2021, Aliyah plans to pursue a career as an OB-GYN.

In addition to working in hospitals administering pre- and-postnatal care; Aliyah will be working at a women’s refugee center where she and the other students in the program will be volunteering to assist in the day-to-day operations of the center; which include sexual health education, entrepreneurship, maternity services and education.
