HELP STUDENTS SUCCEED IN COLLEGE, NO MATTER THEIR BACKGROUNDS

Our dynamic and highly qualified team is unique in Delaware and in the nation.

Our summer residential component – DCS’ special sauce – sets our teaching, mentoring, and learning model in a category of its own. DCS faculty, leadership interns, staff, and scholars live on-dorm together in an intensive and exciting college preparatory experience. Small class sizes, academically minded students, college vision trips, and cohort-building activities contribute to this one-of-a-kind program.

About DCS

Delaware College Scholars (DCS) is the most academically rigorous college preparation and college persistence program in the State of Delaware. For high-achieving public high school students with no clear path to college, DCS’ seven-year, tuition-free program, with a three-year residential component, provides its scholars the opportunity to succeed.

To date, 92 percent of Delaware College Scholars, who are underserved and often the first in their family to attend college, have gone on to four-year institutions of higher learning. Ninety-four percent have remained in college beyond freshman year.
